The family-owned family farm located in the remote Mackay area of New Spain is known as Robert Dards Farm, or DardORF.
The recording, taken from inside the farm, includes the sounds of a flock of chickens, cows, and sheep.
It is the first audio recording to be released from the farm.
Robert Dardoors family farm was built in 1875, when his parents purchased the farm from the family of George and Elizabeth Robinson.
They later sold the farm to his grandparents, and in 1926 they transferred ownership to Robert and Helen Dardoras.
In 2009, Robert Dardedorff became the first Australian to become an ambassador for The Robinson’s, with the endorsement of The Australian Financial Review.
In 2012, the family launched a new brand of The Dards, named Robinson Family Farm, and their farm has been featured on the cover of The Daily Telegraph, The Australian, The Drum, and many other Australian media outlets.
Robert’s wife Helen, son Nick, and daughter-in-law, Catherine, who are also part of the family, run the farm in a small cottage near Mackay, New South’s Gold Coast.
“It’s been a very different beast,” Robert Dastorf said.
“I think we’re all really proud of what we’ve achieved.”
Robert Dastorff said the family would continue to support local agriculture and would be focusing on growing more locally grown products, like Australian made coffee.
“We’ve done our research, we’ve grown our crops and we’re hoping to make sure that we’re exporting them to the Australian market as well,” he said.
